Yury Nazarau is the Head of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate. The Belarus President Property Management Directorate (PPMD) is a Belarusian government body subordinated directly to Aliaksandr Lukashenka. The Directorate started as a small unit managing inventory, logistics and welfare for government agencies, and has since evolved into the largest operator of non-residential real estate and of lotteries in Belarus. It thereby generates revenue for the regime. As Head of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate, Yury Nazarau supports the Lukashenka regime. He is also associated with Synesis LLC and the Directorate’s subsidiaries: GHU – Main Economic Department of the Presidential Administration, Republican unitary enterprise “Tsentrkurort” (now merged with BelExpo), Republican subsidiary unitary enterprise “Hotel Minsk”, Open Joint Stock Company “Hotel Planeta”, Republican unitary enterprise Belorusskiye Loterei.
