Working in the Eastern Central Command since August 2022. He is the former Commander of the Eastern Command of the Myanmar Armed Forces (Tatmadaw). On 21 July 2023 he was appointed Deputy Minister for Home Affairs and given the joint responsibility of Police Chief. On 3 August 2024 he returned to his previous military function.
