Sanctions Monthly Digest: March 2026

In March 2026, the EU expanded its Iran (WMD) sanctions, broadening sectoral coverage and adding detailed information on designated military-linked entities, while also introducing new terrorism- and Russia-related listings and delisting three individuals under the Tunisia misappropriation regime. The UK imposed sanctions on individuals and companies tied to a Cambodia-based scam network involving forced labor. The US updated BIS and OFAC lists, targeting Hezbollah-linked financial networks and DPRK IT operations, while also removing several entries, including Belarusian potash firms and certain Russian individuals.
